He is survived by: his children, David Burgess of Mouthcard, KY, Franklin Joe Burgess of Mouthcard, KY, Carolyn Gearhart of McCarr, KY, Brenda Kay Clevinger of Rogersville, TN and Linda Hopkins of Mouthcard, KY; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Williams, Rachel Hopkins, Cortney Schaffer and Shawntal Justice; his great grandchildren, Madison Williams, Dawson Williams, Natalee Hogston, Emalee Hogston, Rosalee Schaffer, Damian Justice and Devon Justice; his brother Delbert Burgess (Candy) of Grundy, VA; and his children-in-law, James Hatfield, Sam Cox, Franklin and Patricia.
