He was predeceased by: his parent Ethel Cook; his siblings, Junior, Olson Cook and Mary Daugherty; his daughter Sandra Cook; his granddaughter Ashley Cook; his sons-in-law, Tony Metcalf and Bobby Britain; and his pet Lucky.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Cook (Harvey); his children, Walter Cook, Jr. (Faye), Donnie Cook, Donna Metcalf, Charles Davis (Debbie), Greg Davis (Lanice) and Tammy Britain; his nieces, Helen and Vickie; and also, Lee and Bonnie. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
