She was predeceased by: her husband Wilbur R. "Pug" Gilbert; her son Morris Gilbert; her parents, Elsie Wooden and Harvey Wooden; her brothers, Randy and Darrell Wooden; and her nephew Artie Wooden.
She is survived by: her grandsons, Joseph Gilbert (Jessica) and Jacob Gilbert; her siblings, Gerald Wooden, Marilyn Shrader, Rue Wooden and Stanley Wooden; and her great grandchildren, Oliver and Maggie Gilbert.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greenwood United Baptist Church (8710 Thompson Ln, Louisville, KY 40258).
