He was predeceased by: his parents, Conway Cotner and Anna Cotner; his wife Carolyn Jean Cotner; his son Timothy Cotner; and his sister Patty Weaver.
He is survived by: his children, Raymond Catlett (Kelly), Shannon Bailes (Greg) and Tony Cotner; his grandchildren, Raymond (Brittany), Trent, Laila, Scarlett (Christof), Savanna, Gavin, Trinity and Melody; and his former wife Charlotte Ward. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, several extended family members and many loving friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Arch L Heady Funeral Home - Okolona Chapel (8519 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40219). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Highland Memory Gardens (279 Landis Ln, Mt Washington, KY 40047).
