Ruel Hardin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruel Hardin (Mount Washington, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 8, 2025 at the age of 69. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruel Hardin to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hardin and Iris Hardin; and his nephew Brian Hardin. He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Hardin (Cathy), Richard Hardin (Sue), Elizabeth Baker (Mark), Georgia Kibler (John) and Jane Hart (Steve); his children, Kerri Dues (Ben), Tori Henninger (Justin), Alli Hardin (Randy), Will Price (Laura), Sarah Mills (Jeremy Vogel) and Kathy; and his grandchildren, Kendall, Tate, Kaylynn, Kaleb, Nash, Genevieve, Owen and Brynn.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home- Mt. Washington (123 Winning Colors Dr, Mt Washington, KY 40047). A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at the Highland Memory Gardens (279 Landis Ln, Mt Washington, KY 40047).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Barren River Area Safe Space, Inc. (BRASS, Inc.) in Mr. Hardin's memory, continuing Ruel and Kathy's tradition of supporting those in need.
