Phillip James Jones Obituary

Phillip James Jones, 46, of Mount Washington, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2021. Phillip served in the United States Army. He was a graduate of Trinity High School, and was an avid University of Louisville fan. Phillip enjoyed working on projects in his home. He loved his family and friends and will be missed by all who knew him.

He was born on November 9, 1974 in Cartersville, Georgia to James and Margaret (O'Daniel) Jones. He is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Uncle, Phillip O'Daniel, Cousins, Shannon O'Daniel, Josh O'Daniel, and Matthew O'Daniel.

Phillip is survived by his Mother, Margaret Jones, Brother, Andrew Jones, Aunts, Deanna O'Daniel, Theresa (Jamie) Prestigiacomo, and Mary Ann (Terry) McDonald, Uncles, John (Marilyn) O'Daniel, Morris O'Daniel, Jim (Nickie) O'Daniel, Tony O'Daniel, Bill (Angela) O'Daniel, and Pat O'Daniel, and Long Time Friend, Erich Lippert. Phillip also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of Cousins, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 from 10:00 am until 11:30 at St. James Catholic Church (Bardstown Road, Louisville). Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 am on Wednesday, at St James Catholic Church.

The family requests that contributions in Phillip's memory be made to St. James Catholic Church.
