She was predeceased by: her parents, Coleman Shackelford and Wandella Shackelford; and her brother Paul Dean Shackelford. She is survived by: her husband Glen Ellis Powell; her children, Glen Powell Jr. (Chad Barringer) of Charlotte, NC, Kyle David Powell (Katie Marie Reed) of Louisville, KY and JoAnna Lee Diersing (Rocky) of Mt. Washington, KY; her grandchildren, Peyton Jane Diersing, Barrett Edward Diersing and Lucy Ellis Diersing; and her siblings, Wanda Jo Mellette (Richard) of Quebec, Sandy Lee Girdler (David) of Winchester, KY, Jim Shackelford (Debbie) of Lexington, KY, Carla Daniel of Ohio, Joni McDonald of Ohio, LeAnne Rhonemus of Ohio and Gus Eric Miller of Ohio. She is also survived by her family, friends.
