With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norma Rose Schmitz (Mount Washington, Kentucky), who passed away on January 30, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Schmitz; her parents, Dola Cook, and Donald Cook, Sr.; her siblings, Marcella Keene, Donald Cook, Jr., Estill and Vaughn Cook; her son-in-law David Kirkendall; and her brothers-in-law, Mike Bryant and Ronnie Thacker.
She is survived by: her children, Lori Kirkendall, Kristine Dibble and Greg Schmitz (Mary Jo); her sisters, Zelma "Jan" Collins (Roger), Shelly Bryant, Cecilia "Sue" Jones (Larry) and Kathy Thacker; her grandchildren, Arika Denman (James), Matthew Schmitz (Katie), Kelly Wohlgamuth (Andrew), Jessica Murphy (Daniel), Jenna Beam (Chris) and Madison Dibble; and her great grandchildren, Kenzie, Riley, Jett, Jaxon, Rhett, Hudson, Ryker, Raegan, Emery and Ty.
In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution may be made to Hosparus Health.
