He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Childress and Flossie Mae Childress (Taylor); his siblings, Kimberly Childress, Teresa Childress and Harrell Childress; and his nephew Jerimy Childress.
He is survived by: his wife Brandy Childress; his daughters, Kristen Childress and Gabby Childress; his stepdaughter Brianna Brown; and his siblings, Mechelle Compton (Craig), Jeanne Clark (Wally), Sharon Craine (Wendel), Gary Childress (Carolyn) and Darrell Childress (Drewcilla).
