He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sims and Martha Sims; and his sister Annetta Gross. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Fries, Ricky Sims, John Sims, David Sims and Jeffery Sims; his sisters, Margaret Hadley and Carol Pollis; his grandchildren, Ashley Sims, Victoria Fries and Zachary Sims; and his great grandchild Caden Fries.
