He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Snawder, and George Snawder, Sr.; his wife Martha "Marty" Wayne Snawder; his brother George "Skip" Snawder, Jr.; and his grandson Larry Wayne Eldridge.

He is survived by: his daughter Carrie Eldridge; his stepdaughters, Janet Clark (Steve) and Jeana Wright; and his grandchildren, Brandi Eldridge and Robert Eldridge.
