He was predeceased by: his daughter Lisa Zehnder; his parents, Rodney Mattingly and Mary Ruby Hagan Mattingly; and his siblings, Nancy Donnelly, Margie Ryan, Jimmy and Tommy Mattingly.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Mattingly; his sons, Mike Mattingly, Brian Mattingly and Tracey Mattingly (Susan); his stepsons, Scott Starkey (LeeAnn), Mark Malone (Melissa) and Mike Malone; his son-in-law Jerry Zehnder; his siblings, Rita Butler (Sam), George "Marcy" Mattingly, David Mattingly, Frank Mattingly (Martha), Danny Mattingly (Darnell) and Bobby Mattingly; his grandchildren, Trenton Zehnder, Ryan Zehnder, Zach Zehnder, Dawson Mattingly, Noah Mattingly, Nevin Mattingly, Elijah Starkey, Sarah Starkey, Simon Starkey, Alexandria Malone, Abagale Malone, Jason Malone and Patrick Malone; and his great grandchild Henry McGuire. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
