We bid farewell to Eva Katherine Vires (Mount Washington, Kentucky), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 30, 2025 at the age of 100. Eva touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Capito and Mae Ellen Capito; her husband Clarence Orville Vires; her sons, Randy, Jim and Jerry Vires; her children-in-law, Ray Asbury and Suzie Vires; and her siblings, William, George Capito and Emma Vires.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Vires (Cindy), Clara Louise "Sissy" Asbury and Jeannie Watts (Mike). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 13 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home (111 N Bardstown Rd, Mt Washington, KY 40047). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at the Highland Memory Gardens (279 Landis Ln, Mt Washington, KY 40047).
