He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Ann; his parents, Marvin Cheatham and Maggie Cheatham; and his siblings, Dorchester of Justice, J. L., George, Kenneth, Rudolph, Sanford, Katherine, Isabell and Alma.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dianna Lee Summers (Don) of Elizabethtown, Pamela Joy Stopher (late Jeff) of Taylorsville and Alice Greer Cheatham of Mt. Washington; his sister-in-law Mattie Greer of Woodlawn; his grandchildren, Tara Lee Bower (Sean), Daniel Byron Summers, Chad Allen (Samantha) and Wesley Robert Stopher (Kara); his great grandchildren, Violet Bower, Dakota Allen, Cami Clark and Rowan Smith; and also Marvin F. Cheatham of Louisville.
