He is survived by: his children, Matthew Cook (Lauryn) and Megan Cook; his parents, Phyllis Taylor and Leon Taylor; his sister Michelle Grant (Mark); his stepsiblings, Robert Carter (Brandee), Kelly Clarke (Darren) and Rhonda Taylor; and his grandmother Laura Cook. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
