She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Smith and Thelma Smith (Rodgers); her sisters, Rhoda and Raytha; her husband Dwain; and her granddaughter Joy Cook.
She is survived by: her children, Gail Jordan (William), Judy Cook (Keith) and Jerry Forbes (Camilla); her grandchildren, Robert Houser of Steven Jordan, D. J, Allison Cross (Randy), Quentin Forbes (Sarah) and Justin Forbes (Heather); her great grandchildren, Noah, Braxton, Naomi, Eva, Cadence and Gabriel; and her brother Lawrence. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorial contributions in her honor can be made to First Baptist Bellville Church or Disabled Veterans organization.
