He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Hayes and Mary Monk Hayes. He is survived by: his wife Glenna Hayes (Vaughn); his children, Courtney Boreing (Phillip) of Mt Vernon, Michael Hayes (Misti) of Annville and Krissy Richmond Phillips of Richmond; his grandchildren, Austin (Emily), Peyton, Ethan Saylor, Keelie Bowling, Ryder, Kova Boreing, Emmie, Alexie Hayes, Robby and Molly Carosello; his great grandchild Hudson Saylor; and his sisters, Carol Alcorn (Sam) and Betty Weaver (Steve). He is also survived by cousins, nephews/nieces, friends and neighbors.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Marvin Owens Chapel (148 W Main St, Brodhead, KY 40409). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
