In loving memory of Rick Carl Schmitter of Mount Vernon, Kentucky, born in Atco, New Jersey, who departed this world on September 10, 2024 at the age of 69. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wolfgang W. Schmitter and Dorothy Schmitter; and his brothers, Ronald, Dennis, John and David Schmitter.
He is survived by: his wife Janie Schmitter (Kirby); his children, Lori Price of Somerset, Travis Schmitter of Danville, Eliza Barnett of Mt Vernon, Bobby Kirby of Mt Vernon and Glenna Isaacs of Jackson Co; and his grandchildren, Jakob, Bradley Fisher, Keaton Loveless, Callie, Sophia Schmitter, Dakota, Makinlee Kirby, Dustin, Chelsea Barnett, Andrew and Blake Issacs.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home. A funeral service was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Marvin E Owens Home.
