It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Sexton of Mount Vernon, Kentucky, born in Brookville, Indiana, who passed away on January 5, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Farthing and Mae Turner Farthing; her daughters, Sandra Phillips and Wilma Furman; her brothers, Robert Farthing and Charles Farthing; her half-brother Larry Cesanous; her sister Susan Cesanous; and her grandson Shane Noble.
She is survived by: her husband James Richard Sexton; her children, Wendell Martin (Jenny) of Three Links, Vicki Hisle (Gary) of Mt. Vernon, Benda Hall (Talt) of Mt. Vernon and Cheyenne Isaacs (Steve) of Mt. Vernon; her stepchildren, Doug Sexton (Christy) of Berea, Bonita Corely (Richard) of Florida and Shawnerie Bone (Ron) of Florida; her brothers, Buck Farthing of Mt. Vernon and Phillip Farthing (Liz) of Red Lick; and her half-sister Paula Cesanous of California. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, 3 step-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, face masks are required, social distancing is encouraged, and 50% capacity will be limited at the funeral home.
