He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sloan and Dorothy Sloan; and his siblings, Carl Sloan, Carlos Sloan and Martha Richmond.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley McHone Stone; his children, Doug Stone and Dorothy Shaw; his stepchildren, David Alexander, Troy Alexander, Rebecca Gomez and Walter Alexander (Kylee); and his siblings, Ronald E. Sloan, Harlan S. Sloan, Rita F. Sloan and Debra Sloan. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
