She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Gabbard and Ruth Madden Gabbard; and her siblings, Raymond Gabbard, Jesse Gabbard, Amy Heart, Betty Lamb, Thalma "Pete" Cope and Dorothy Casteel.
She is survived by: her husband Dean Sowder of Mt. Vernon, KY; her children, Bridget Croucher (Dewayne) of Mt. Vernon, KY, Billy Barrett (Miranda) of Richmond, KY and Ricky Barrett of Mt. Vernon, KY; her grandchildren, Jay Croucher, Chris Croucher, Erica Croucher, Serinity Stone Barrett and Keelin Barrett; her great grandchildren, Jadyn Croucher, David Croucher and Makennalee Barnes; and her sister Margaret Rose.
