He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlis Deatherage and Clotine Hansel Deatherage; his son Joel Deatherage; and his brother Paul Gene Deatherage. He is survived by: his son Lee Deatherage; his brother Coman Deatherage; and his grandchildren, Aaron, Hayden, Ava Rose and Anabella.
