Vernon; his children, Courtney Walker (Jeremy) of Clyde, TX and Zachary Hale (Amanda) of Berea; his siblings, John Hale (Nancy), Anita Todd (Roy) and Jeanette Kendrick (Lee); his grandchildren, Hannah Walker, Maggie Walker, Luca Hale and Vera Hale; and his friend Jessica Cameron. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
