He was predeceased by: his father Hubert Silvers; his stepfather Woodrow Rogers; and his grandparents, Joe Bradley, Myrtle Silvers, Charlie and Olga Thompson.

He is survived by: his mother Eulula Thompson Silvers of Somerset; his wife Nancy Prewitt Silvers; his son Chadwick Dale Silvers (Beth) of Union; and his granddaughters, Jane and Ellen Silvers.
