He was predeceased by: his parents, William Chasteen and Bertha Chasteen; and his children, Timothy Dewayne Chasteen and Glenna Kay Mink. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Chasteen; his sons, Marvin Chasteen (Jennifer) of Houston, Denzil Chasteen of Conway and Wesley Chasteen (Angie) of Berea; his grandchildren, James Mink, Brandy Brock (Tim), Michelle Burgess, Tracy Stewart (Jason), Christopher Chasteen (Sharon), TJ Chasteen (Angela), Jordan Chasteen (Sarah), Matthew Chasteen, Kira Haven Owens, Brad Chasteen and Brandon Chasteen; his great grandchildren, Haley Mink, Brooke Mink, Mckinzii Todd, Noah Brock, Nathan Burgess, Wyatt Burgess, Haley Perez, Riley Stewart, Kendra Hensley, Colson, Gracelyn, Hunter, Chaz, Collyn, Carder and Chesneigh Chasteen; and his brothers, John, Eldon, Raymond, Ernest, Clyde, Melvin, Harry and Arnold Chasteen.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made toward James's funeral expenses.
