James Chism Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Chism (Mount Vernon, Kentucky), born in Tompkinsville, Kentucky, who passed away on July 22, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Timothy Kirkpatrick Chism and Jean Swift Chism; his mother-in-law Roberta Robbins Brown; and his siblings-in-law, William Gordon and Wanda Brown Braley.
He is survived by: his uncle Levi Bailey; his wife Marcia Jayne Brown Chism; his daughters, Amanda Jean Chism Briggs (Alan) and Hannah Marie Chism; his siblings, Timothy Kirkpatrick Chism, Jr. (Dorothea) and Katherine Chism Gordon; his father-in-law Harold Brown; and his siblings-in-law, Rita Brown Sampson (Mark), Katherine Brown Hysinger (Rick), Teresa Brown (Craig Wagers) and Hershel Braley. He is also survived by ten nieces and nephews; and a host of great nieces, nephews and cousins.
