It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Boone (Mount Vernon, Kentucky), born in Hazel, Kentucky, who passed away on January 7, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James, Sr. Boone and Jermy Kincer Boone; his siblings, Boyd Boone, Joy Lile and Jean Johnson; his stepmother Mae Boone Thomas; and his stepdaughter Wanda Mason.
He is survived by: his wife Peachie Cromer Boone; his daughters, Patricia Sears (Jerry) of Gwynneville, IN and Sandi Bryant (Jerry) of Fortville, IN; his stepchildren, Luther Jr., Cromer, Judy Petrey, Carolyn Bradley and Betty Gabbard; and his sister Glenna Pletcher of Indianapolis, IN.. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
