He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Bowman and Lina Powell Bowman. He is survived by: his wife Lois Marie Knuckles Bowman; his children, Bobby Bowman of Mt. Vernon, KY, Jacob Bowman of Mt. Vernon, KY, Lucy Bullock of Richmond, KY and Elizabeth Bowman of Mt. Vernon, KY; his brothers, Dwight D. Bowman of California and John C. Bowman, Jr. of McKee, KY; his half-brother George Powell of Berea, KY; and his sister Rosalie Omer of South Carolina. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
