She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Newton and Veeda Grimes; her child Shannon Newton; and her sister Valeta Mayes. She is survived by: her husband Dell Cotton; her sons, Randall Wilson and Everett Wilson (Kayla); her grandchildren, Adrienne Winchester, Peyton Wilson and Benjamin Wilson; and her sister Brenda Potter.
