He is survived by: his children, Richard Tirey of Beattyville, Kentucky, Daphne Marshall of Beattyville, Kentucky and Greg Tirey of Beattyville, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Heather Brooke Marshall of Beattyville and Chandler Joe Tirey of Beattyville; his sister Carolyn Peercy of Beattyville; and his close friend Paul Frye of Beattyville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
