He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny McClure and Fannie Vance McClure; and his siblings, Zade, Shirley, Sherman McClure, Etta Evans, Fredda Phelps, Birtie Fish and Berniece Rice.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Doan McClure of Mt. Vernon; and his children, Carlos McClure (Jessica) of Mt. Vernon, Tommy McClure (Donna) of Mt. Vernon, Darlene McClure Blackburn of Mt. Vernon and Melissa Ann Marler of Sand Hill, Kentucky.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren, in addition to numerous friends, neighbors and relatives.
