He was predeceased by: his parents, James Walker Doan and Eva Hasty Doan; and his siblings, Ray Doan, Alma Hines, Alene Brown, Elsie McClure, Sadie Highlander and Loretta Doan.
He is survived by: his siblings, Elzie Doan (Mary Opal) of Livingston, Vernon Doan (Charolett) of Calloway, Dallas Doan (Beverley) of Seymore, Tessie Allen of Honor, Michigan, Glenna Bell (James) of Monticello and Linda Martin of Mt. Vernon. He is also survived by nieces/nephews, friends.
