She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmy Thacker and Lucinda Philpot Thacker; her husband Herbert Lear; her son Freddie Keith Lear; and her great grandchild Brennan Kirby.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Lee Lear of Scaffold Cane, Eddie Ray Lear of Scaffold Cane, Michael Glenn Lear of Scaffold Cane, Cindy Kaye Lear Moberly (Todd) of Berea and Gloria Anne Lear Morrison (Woody) of Vero Beach, FL; her daughter-in-law Barbara Johnson Lear of Berea; and her grandchildren, Jason Lear, Randall Lear, Justin Lear, Keith Lear, James Michael Lear, John Lear, Luke Lear, Janie Lear Kirby, Christy Lear VanWinkle, Candace Moberly, Chelsea Moberly Tipton, Beulah Jean Lear, Glenda Lear, Jetta Lear, Savannah Owens and Lestlie Perkins. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren.
