It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bert Gabbard of Mount Vernon, Kentucky, who passed away on March 2, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Sylvia Thacker Gabbard; his children, Stephen, Tammy and Douglas; his grandson Steven; and his siblings, Seldon, Mike, Bill, Anna Bell and Ruth.

He is survived by: his children, Ronnie Gabbard (Betty), Kenny Gabbard (Zelma) and Eddie Gabbard (Tammy); his sister Clara Gabbard; his grandchildren, Brandon, Stacie, Sylvia, Tanya and Rodney; his great grandchildren, E. J., David, Zaden, Zander, Avery, Arlie, Cora, Payton, Tyler, Temperance, Trinity, Astrid, Aaron, Jasper and Ryan; and his great great grandchild Lucas. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.

In accordance with the state mandate facial mask and social distancing will be required at all services.
