She was predeceased by: her parents, William Volk and Mildred Volk; her son Josh Hendrickson; her siblings, Tina Neeley, Keith and Bill Volk; and her close friend Victoria McFarland.
She is survived by: her siblings, Vicky Volk of Mount Vernon and Ricky Volk; and her children, Chris Hendrickson (Sarah) and Carrie Alcorn (Jason) of Mount Vernon, KY..
In lieu of flowers April requested donations be made to Relay For Life, ASPCA, or a local animal shelter.
