It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alphia McClure (Mount Vernon, Kentucky), who passed away on November 15, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Stanton Monk and Freda Fern Bozell Monk; and her husband James McClure. She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Lee Bradley (Boyd) of Mt. Vernon and Jo Ann Sallee (Ronnie) of Danville; her grandchildren, Crystal Michelle Faulkner, Brandie Jo Hampton and Travis Edward Van Pelt; her great grandchildren, Brett Shane, Connor Chase Noble, Ethan Slade Faulkner, Carlie Raeann Carrier, Hadley Grace Van Pelt and Brynlee Tyler McMullin; and her siblings, Mary Hays of Maretburg, Bonnie Sue Prestholt of Clear Lake, IA., Carlos, Donald, Paul, Roger, Leroy Monk, Joyce Moore and Barbara McGinnis.
