He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred, Sr. Widner and Trula Burns Widner; and his siblings, Donald Wagner and Cathy Hobby. He is survived by: his wife Monica Moore Widner; his daughters, Charity Falk (Daniel) of Mt. Vernon and Lesley Burdette of Mt. Vernon; and his sisters, Maryanne Smith of Beaver Dam and Carolyn Raines of Owensboro, Kentucky.. He is also survived by six grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
