He was predeceased by: his parents, Granville Anderson and Ella Mae Bryant Proctor; his stepson Jason Houk; and his siblings, Doris Wolf, Mable Robinson, Dorothy Farthing and Joe Proctor.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Hayes Proctor; his stepchildren, Douglas Houk (Jennifer) of Mt. Vernon and Angela Jean Houk Smith of Mt. Vernon; his sisters, Joyce McNew of Georgetown, Mildred Berry of Ridgeville, IN, Jeannie Sanders of West Chester, OH and Rosemary Ball of Independence; and his grandchildren, James Houk, Jamison Smith, Brooklyn Smith, Natashia Adams, Elizabeth Roark, Jackson Houk, Jason Rose and Logan Rose.
