He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas McCoy and Della Bernice Rogers McCoy; his wife Anna Florence Bridges McCoy; and his siblings, Laura McCoy, May McCoy, Virgie Ellis, Eula Pickup, Jeanetta Barnett, Anna Phillips, Marvin Joseph McCoy, Colleen Ball and Shirley McCoy.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry Slinker (David) and Terry Steele (Julian); and his grandchildren, Rachel Anne Filiatreau, Jenna Reese Steele and Eli William Steele. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
