He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Cockrell and Eliza Donaldson Cockrell; his former wife Judeth Cockrell; his children, James Cockrell and Michelle Cockrell; and his siblings, Wayne Cockrell, Jane McGlothen and Charles Cockrell.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Conkright Cockrell; his sisters, Betty Richardson and Nancy Frodge; and his stepchildren, Shannon Watkins (Bill) and Rex Conway (Elena). He is also survived by four step-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rolling Hills Church of Christ (125 Rolling Hills Dr, Mt Sterling, KY 40353). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
