He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Clayton Sr. and Lucille Parks Reffitt; and his siblings, Brenda Allen, Charles Randy Reffitt and Colonel Reffitt.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Russell Reffitt of Mt. Sterling; his son Sidney Christopher Reffitt (Amanda); his grandchildren, Allison Reffitt and Mason Reffitt; and his siblings, Roger Reffitt (Tonya) and Sugar Puckett (Paul). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
