She was predeceased by: her parents, Mathew Dennard and Tressa Fluker; her husband Henry Watson, Jr.; and her siblings, Melvin Dennard, Wanda Gardner, Barbara Jean Dennard Duncan, Audrey Parker and Lanara Dennard.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Church of Brandon, FL, Roosevelt Escalante (Marti) of Mt. Sterling, KY and Alexis Escalante of Avon, CT; her stepdaughter Cecilia Watson of Ft. Myers; her siblings, Brenda Thompson of Riverview, Gloria Collins of Los Angeles and Sheldon Dennard of Riverview; her grandson Leon Church, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Roosevelt Escalante III, Mia Escalante, Dhimond Church and Leondra Church; and her goddaughter Antonette Gilmore. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
