She was predeceased by: her parents, James Russell Linkous and Edna May Campbell Linkous; her husband Albert Russell; and her brothers, Gerald Linkous, Elwood Linkous and Harold Linkous.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Refitt of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky and Sheila Campbell (James) of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Sidney Christopher Refitt (Amanda) and Jamie Sorrell (Nathan); her great grandchildren, Allyson Refitt, Mason Refitt, Laci Sorrell and Levi Sorrell; her great great grandchild Tinley Merrit; her siblings, Denzil Linkous of Campton, Ellis Linkous (Wanda) of Stanton, James Linkous (Carol) of Owingsville, Kentucky and Betty Ruth Vinson of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky; and her close friends, Mae Creech and Mary Fugate. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
