Though Roy Nesbitt may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Roy Nesbitt touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph M. Satterfield and Mildred Satterfield (Craycraft). He is survived by: his children, Lora of Georgetown, KY and Benny of Columbus, OH; and his sister Cherry Lyons (Ronnie) of Olympia, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Michael R Gray Funeral Home (89 Slate Ave, Owingsville, KY 40360). A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery (6980 Danville Rd, Nicholasville, KY 40356).
