He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommie Rowland and Evelyn Pennington Tackett; his siblings, Iby Gene Rowland, Brenda Jo Tackett, Vickie Baba and Joy Marie Rowland; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Estep, Sonny Bair and John Baba.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Tipton Rowland of Mt. Sterling; his daughters, Joy Rowland (Ricky Howard) of Jeffersonville and Michelle Rowland Noble (Stacy) of Jeffersonville; his grandchildren, Chase Lawson of Jeffersonville and Alexis Lawson of Jeffersonville; his siblings, Doug Tackett (Marikka) of Lexington, Billy Tackett (Ruth) of Lexington, Darrell Tackett (Crystal) of Winchester, Connie Estep of Franklin, Sheila Bair of Franklin, Ronda Rowland Monk (Don) of Franklin and Vhonda Rowland of Franklin, Ohio; and his close friend Manuel Duncan of Mt. Sterling. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
