He was predeceased by: his father Troy Tipton; his son Jeff Tipton; and his siblings, Raymond Tipton, Tom Tipton, Frances Estes and JoAnn Issac.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Purvis Tipton of Mt. Sterling; his son Phillip Tipton (Nancy) of Harrisburg; his daughter-in-law Kendra Tipton of Mt. Sterling; his grandchildren, Emily Tipton, Ben Tipton (Katie Johnson) and Chase Tipton; his great grandchild Emalynn Blaire Tipton; his sister Lou Blevins of Mt. Sterling; and his sister-in-law Gayle Tipton of Mt. Sterling. He is also survived by his family and friends.
