He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Marion Haynes and Rosa Wright Haynes; his wife Delores Evelyn Haynes; his brother Malcolm D. Haynes; and his granddaughter Rebekah Susan Haynes.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Clayton Haynes, Jr. (Debby) and Susan Frances Haynes; his sister Frances M. Hileman; his grandchildren, Clayton Todd Haynes, William Kendall Bache III and Courtney Leigh Hoeppner (Kirk); and his great grandchildren, Samantha Downing, Ryan Downing and William Kirk Hoeppner.
A memorial service will be held at a later date due to COVID-19 considerations.
