He is survived by: his wife Ruth Stephenson Hancock; his sons, Jared Hancock and Brian Hancock; and his siblings, Holly Stringer (Gene), Phillip Hancock, Wiley, Ladybug and Thomas Conlee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (925 Woodford Dr, Mt Sterling, KY 40353). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made in Rickey's memory to the Montgomery County Public Library, 328 North Maysville Street, Mt. Sterling, Kentucky 40353.
