He was predeceased by: his parents, William Williams and Mattie Cline Williams; the mother of his child Faye Carpenter Williams; his stepsons, Tim Rice, Billy Rice, Frankie Rice and Dallas Rice; his stepgrandson Brian Rice; and his siblings, Lorene Welch, Irene "Cricket" Welch, Ethel Arnold, Nellie Jones, Edna Mae Patrick, Elmer "Nub" Williams, Mayme Walker, Nancy Hamm, Tom Williams, Earl Cash Williams and Stella Yarber.
He is survived by: his daughter Karen Cline of Mt. Sterling, KY; his grandchildren, Chad Willoughby (Tina) and Rayme Henchon (Terrance); his stepgrandchildren, Dallas Wade Rice, Tony Rice, Anissa Rice and Tiffany Rice; and his great grandchildren, Carter Henchon, Shea Willoughby, Katie Willoughby and Kristin Rice. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
