She was predeceased by: her parents, Pauline and Adrian; her sons, John Paul Kirkland, Brad and Brent Kirkland; and her siblings, Carol Jane Howell, Edwin Hord, John Hord, Erma Hook, Merrill Hord and Gayle Hord.
She is survived by: her sons, Bret Kirkland (Dee Gee Roe) and Trevor Kirkland (Rachel); and her grandchildren, Hannah Marie Kirkland, Sarah Grace Kirkland and Zachary Kirkland. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
